The Role
As an Estimator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping commercially successful and technical project outcomes. You will:
* Prepare detailed upfront pricing for industrial and commercial D&C projects.
* Support early contractor engagement (ECE) processes.
* Analyse drawings, scopes, and specifications to produce accurate cost breakdowns.
* Work collaboratively with design, pre‐construction, and project delivery teams.
* Maintain and continuously improve systems, databases, and construction rates.
* Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive, reliable pricing – where applicable.
* Deliver data‐driven insights that support smart decision‐making.
You'll be a great fit if you:
* Bring construction industry experience (industrial or commercial preferred).
* Have proven experience in Estimation and solid understanding of construction rates and trade packages.
* Are highly focused, accurate, and data‐driven in your work.
* Enjoy improving systems, rate structures, and processes.
* Have, or are willing to learn, CostX (we provide training).
* Thrive in a collaborative, solutions‐focused environment.
* Want to contribute to early‐stage design and build discussions.
This role reports directly to the Head of Pre‐Construction.
