Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a defined geographical area (South East Midlands), nurturing existing client relationships while developing new business. Reporting to the Head of Hire & Service, youll be responsible for delivering consistent sales growth and exceptional customer service across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts within a defined territory.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share.
* Build strong, long-term client relationships at all levels.
* Promote the full range of the companys products and services to maximise sales and customer engagement.
* Develop a select portfolio of clients who regularly purchase and hire equipment.
* Support the development of key accounts to drive strategic growth.
* Provide regular insight to marketing and management on competitor activity, client needs, upcoming projects, and opportunities for service or product development.
* Ensure world-class customer service is delivered at every stage of the client journey.
What We're Looking For
Experience
* Proven experience in account management, including face-to-face sales with major or blue-chip clients.
* Strong ability to manage all aspects of a client account, including central procurement and local operations.
* Confident in presenting commercial proposals and solutions to stakeholders at various levels.
* Comfortable with on-the-road account management and client visits.
