The education support class position involves carrying out tasks in accordance with established guidelines and frameworks under supervision and direction. This may include coordinating other education support class staff within the work area or educational program.
You will be part of a professional staff team consisting of experienced teachers and dedicated school support staff. Strong partnerships with local organizations, universities, and community groups enhance the learning experience for students.
Key selection criteria include the ability to perform duties consistent with established guidelines, working collaboratively in a team environment, communicating effectively, possessing technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position, providing advice and support, and commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
This is a part-time position requiring 3 days per week, approximately 7 hours per day. Certification and/or qualifications of up to three years can be required at this level.
