Due to company growth an opportunity exists for a Trade Qualified Fitter Turner/Machinist, having sound experience with the operation of Manual and CNC including:
* Lathe's and milling machines
* Strong CNC Milling/turning skills
* Programming experience
* CNC programming experience at any level is acceptable
* Setting and operating CNC Mills/Lathes with Fanuc Controllers
To be successful in this role you MUST also possess the following skills and abilities:
* Trade qualified Fitter Turner or Machinist, ideally with at least 3 years post trade experience
* Experience in general fitting and machining with stainless and/or mild steel.
* Experience with either stainless steel or mild steel is acceptable
* Ability to work unassisted, work to deadlines and produce quality workmanship at all times.
* Ability to read and follow drawings and work to tight tolerances
* A team player with a good attitude who is not afraid of a challenge
* Have a great work ethic with a \"can do\" attitude
* Be reliable and willing to commit to the role
* Be comfortable in operating more than one machine at a time
* Weekend work available
* Australian work rights are either acceptable or sponsorship may be available
