We are seeking a hands-on IT Technician to join our Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, configuring, repairing, and supporting computer systems while also providing onsite and remote customer support.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, configure, and repair desktop computers, laptops, and servers
* Install and configure Windows and Windows Server environments
* Perform hardware diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs
* Configure RAID and carry out quality control (QC) checks
* Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote access
* Attend onsite warranty repairs and customer support visits when required
* Complete service documentation, warranty reports, and QC sign-offs
Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of computer hardware and components
* Experience with Windows and Windows Server installation and configuration
* Knowledge of RAID, BIOS/UEFI, and system troubleshooting
* Ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers
* Good time management and problem-solving skills
Requirements
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Company vehicle provided for onsite visits when required (or car allowance where applicable)
* Must be based in Australia with full working rights
