About the Role
This position involves supporting the Vessel Master and Engineer in managing daily vessel operations, providing leadership to the Deck Crew, ensuring crew performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will share your expertise to create memorable moments for our guests.
Your responsibilities include:
* Assist the Vessel Master with administration and safety duties;
* Ensure guest safety and satisfaction, and maintain vessel and engine performance;
* Assist with watch-keeping, vessel handling, and navigation;
* Facilitate onboard safety drills and crew training;
* Manage Deck crew performance and training compliance;
* Maintain high team performance and professional presentation;
* Address guest complaints promptly to maintain service quality;
* Delegate and oversee daily duties following marine standards;
* Ensure adherence to operational procedures and WHS requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum Master 24m NC
* Marine Engine Driver Grade 3 (MED3) (desirable)
* QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol
* Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
* HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
* HLTAID015 Provide CPR and Basic Oxygen
* National Police Check
