Role Overview
To improve the lives of individuals through hearing health, we seek skilled professionals to join our team in providing high-quality auditory services.
* Assess and diagnose adult clients with hearing impairments using evidence-based methods and best practice guidelines.
* Deliver rehabilitative support, including the selection, fitting, and maintenance of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and communication strategies.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to other professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
* Contribute to outreach programs, visiting sites, and home visits to increase accessibility and convenience for clients.
* Communicate effectively with families, carers, NDIS representatives, and allied health agencies to achieve optimal outcomes and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments to identify auditory problems and develop personalized treatment plans.
* Provide education and guidance on communication strategies, including lip-reading, speech therapy, and device usage.
* Liaise with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to promote awareness and access to hearing services.
