Job Description

We are expanding our multidisciplinary team supporting NDIS participants around the Tuggerah / Central Coast areas and are seeking an Occupational Therapist eager to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community. You will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organizational skills to the role.

Successful candidates will provide support to NDIS participants residing in the Central Coast and Tuggerah areas.

No two days are the same You may work in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, clients' homes, and/or our clinic space.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and delivering timely therapeutic services
- Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical functions through clinical observations and standardized assessments
- Interpreting findings to develop individualized treatment goals
- Providing evidence-based interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and achieve their goals
- Mentoring and supporting early career clinicians
- Staying informed about current legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organizational skills for managing a varied caseload
- A proactive attitude and a desire for continuous skill development
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
