Your Cadetship Pathway
As a Cadet Civil Drafter, you will work closely with experienced engineers and drafters while receiving structured training and hands-on mentoring. You will be supported as you build practical drafting skills and develop a strong understanding of civil engineering documentation and standards.
This is a genuine long-term career pathway role.

What You'll Be Learning & Doing
With guidance and training, you will:
* Assist in the preparation of civil engineering drawings and documentation
* Learn AutoCAD (and exposure to other industry software over time)
* Support engineers with design documentation and revisions
* Develop an understanding of Australian Standards and council requirements
* Build strong technical, organisational and communication skills

What We're Looking For
We're focused on attitude and potential, not experience. You'll ideally have:
* Completion of Year 12 (graphics, design or technical subjects preferred)
* Candidates must have completed Year 12 as this is an essential requirement for the position
* An interest in civil engineering, drafting or design
* A strong willingness to learn and take direction
* Good attention to detail and time-management skills
* Basic computer literacy (AutoCAD exposure is a bonus, not essential)
* A current driver's license would be an advantage
No prior industry experience is required — full training will be provided.
