The Role
This role reports to the Operations Manager – QLD and liaises with other key stakeholders in the business and assist the operations functions of the business in QLD. This role is a contract role for 6 months.
In this role, you are responsible for assisting QLD operations to optimise efficiency and maximise profits including providing customer service, job/contract reviews, allocating contractors and employees with a high
level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Strong organisational abilities and time management skills are essential to all aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
General operations duties as below.
* Manage day-to-day service calls from allocating technicians to closing off work orders, ensuring timely completion and submission of digital field work sheets
* Managing technicians site inductions
* Prepare, obtain and submit SWMS/WHS documentations for all projects
* Prepare, obtain and submit project closeout paperwork including Asset List, Quality Manuals, O&M Manuals
* Assist with allocating technicians to scheduled maintenance service
* Assist with technician work scheduling and resourcing
* Assist with managing projects against budget to ensure the targeted profit is achieved
* Assist with administrative duties such as obtaining paperwork or information, and processing data in ERP system
Qualifications, Competencies and Experience Required
* Construction related trade qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role with industry related exposure
* Ability to read drawings and plans
* Ability to problem solve within an acceptable time frame and within budget
* Operational management experience
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Organized and able to meet deadlines
* Strong computer & software skills
