**About the Team**:
- Cyril Jewell and Boyne Russell House are nursing homes that form an important part of the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Cyril Jewell has 45 beds and is located in Keilor East and Boyne Russell House has 30 beds and is located in Brunswick East. Cyril Jewell and Boyne Russell House are supported by the Food Service Unit Manager at Royal Melbourne Hospital. The homes are committed to enhancing and improving the high standard of food and dining experience for individual resident.
**Your new role**:
- Key Liaison Person for food services in the home for the residents and staff.
- Responsible for the full oversight of kitchen compliance and food safety, conducting regular audits to ensure Cyril Jewell House is providing the highest quality of service.
- Promote and make improvements in the dining experience for residents.
- Work within a team environment, partnering with food services and dieticians.
- Provide exceptional food service to residents, ensuring that their specific dietary and nutrition requirements are being catered to.
**About you**
- You will have a Food safety supervision qualification or be willing to obtain this qualification upon commencement (essential)
- Have experience in conducting food safety compliance checks and carrying out regular audits within a kitchen setting (essential)
- Have experience in providing an excellent level of food services and dining experience (essential)
- You will have fantastic communication and people skills with a key focus on improving the dining experience for all residents (essential)
- Previous experience in aged care or customer service in the food industry (essential)
