The Role
Reporting to the project QA Manager, you will support our solar farm project and will be responsible for assisting in the development and review of quality construction documentation in support of successful delivery and project handover. This is a site-based position on a major renewable energy construction project in the Upper Hunter Valley, with a rostered working arrangement, with accommodation and allowances provided as applicable.
* Effectively communicating with and coordinating project team members to ensure resolution of NCRs, Defect Notices (Punch List), Provisional and Final Acceptance compliance requirements.
* Assist Quality Manager to ensure records are verified, accurate, and completed on time.
* Working with the Quality Manager, DTI project staff, clients, and subcontractors to ensure all groups are aligned with the requirements on quality and completions.
* Participate in ongoing review of Project Delivery, Quality, and Completions requirements to ensure best practice for the collection of Quality Completion artefacts.
* Support the Project Team to work in ACC, providing assurance and regular updates on outstanding tasks and priorities.
* Provide updates and reporting for internal stakeholders.
About You
* Engineering Degree/Qualification in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical.
* Prior experience in quality and Project Completion Delivery; solar farm experience highly regarded.
* Minimum 3‐4 years experience implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System in a construction environment.
* Proven experience in developing construction quality documentation, including review of ITPs and ITP checklists.
* Proven experience in the preparation of as‐built documentation and artefact requirements.
* Working knowledge of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical and Infrastructure standards and regulations, and ability to identify and address gaps, including knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
* Negotiation and influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
* Ability to develop analytical and planning/prioritisation skills.
