Join our 500-plus- team crafting unforgettable experiences from conferences, exhibitions, and meetings to galas and beyond.About youWe are currently seeking an experienced Event Set-Up Team Leader who has flexible availability for morning and evening work.As one of our Team Leaders, you'll be planning, coordinating, and supervising your team to deliver room set ups for all events. You'll play a key role in ensuring the Set Ups team is providing the highest level of service to our customers, whilst ensuring the team coordinates the setup of events in accordance with event orders, amendments, and floor plans.About the roleEnsuring the quality and accuracy of room set upsPlanning the day's task list and the days aheadEffectively briefing of your crew at the commencement of shiftsLeading your crew including delegating tasks and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on timePreparing and clearing rooms for all events including setting up tables, chairs, linen, place settings and dance floors etcMaintaining furniture storage and storeroomsEnsuring crew are adhering to all safety requirements and OH&S proceduresYou’ll also needYou will have previous experience working in a large venue and have previous people management experience in a similar capacity.You will need to bePhysically fit - you'll be walking quite a bit during your shift and lifting/moving equipment and furnitureHave flexible availability for a minimum of 5 days across a 7 day rotating roster (These days will change every fortnight)Flexible workings hours including weekends and nightsEligibility to work in Australia with no restrictions (if on Visa, we will require evidence of your work eligibility)Please noteTo be considered you must be available to attend a short in-person interviewThen if successful, be available to attend paid induction and trainingOur CultureWe’re a values-driven team, and success comes from working and celebrating together.
