Operations Supervisor Job
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee employees and work activities, ensuring safe completion of operational tasks and meeting performance requirements.
* Oversight and management of business unit performance: Labour costs, KPIs, individual performance management.
* Spearheading continuous improvement projects: Route optimisation, new procedures implementation, in-cab technology adoption.
* Maintaining a safe working environment through legislative compliance: Fatigue audits, vehicle inspections, team training modules.
The ideal candidate will be a people-focused leader with industry experience in waste management or transport logistics. They should possess excellent time management skills and the ability to effectively manage timeframes.
1. Detailed knowledge of industrial relations legislation;
2. HSE (Health Safety Environment) systems awareness;
An HR licence is necessary for this role; appropriate supervisory qualifications desirable such as one that shows you can handle unionised environments well."
