Our small but mighty rural arts / dance school, is seeking a passionate Dance Teacher with proven dance training or professional experience, who loves working with children and young people. Someone who believe's in the power of creativity, movement and the arts to build confidence, wellbeing and connection.
We are looking for a Dance Teacher who shares our values of professionalism, positivity, self-esteem approaches and a holistic lens of childhood development and confidence building, through dance and performance.
About Bridgetown School Of Performing Arts.
We are a small, community-focused dance and arts school offering quality training in a non-competitive environment. Opening only in 2025, we have successfully achieved providing classes for a steady number of committed students and their families ranging from toddler to adult dancers. We currently offer classes in Ballet, Lyrical, Theatre Jazz, Adult Ballet and Teeny Toes Dance. Our vision for the school extends beyond teaching purely dance, with a strong focus on childhood development and wellbeing for all of our students and potential business expansion and opportunities in this area. We are a small team of teachers with shared values around dance and being positive and kind role models for our students. Our rural dance classes are held in Bridgetown, WA. For non local applicants, Bridgetown is beautiful regional town with a friendly community and stunning natural surroundings.
What we're looking for:
* A teacher who can provide history of their dance training or professional performance experience (All styles welcome - Ballet and Lyrical highly favoured)
* A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people through a holistic, inclusive and welcoming approach
* A belief in the benefits of the arts for wellbeing, confidence, health and self-esteem
* A caring, kind, inclusive and holistic teaching approach that values effort, commitment and mutual respect
* Teaching qualifications are favoured but not essential, the right perspective, passion and professionalism is what matters the most.
