Job Title: Disability Support Associate
About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalized support to clients in accordance with their NDIS plans.
* Assist with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming.
* Offer transportation assistance to clients as needed.
* Provide respite care to clients and their families.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to guarantee the well-being of clients.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the NDIS field.
Requirements:
* A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification.
* Certificate 2 or 4 in individual support or willingness to work towards completion (highly regarded).
* Lived experience or paid experience working with individuals with disability.
* Availability for day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers, and weekends.
* Strong understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.
* Understanding of health and safety protocols.
* Ability to work with a diverse client base, acknowledging the varied support needs of clients based on their abilities, cultural backgrounds, and language requirements.
* Basic care and first aid skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
