Job Description-
We are seeking a skilled Database Engineer to design, implement, and manage relational and non-relational database solutions across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, with a focus on performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities-
* Design and manage relational and non-relational database schemas across Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
* Develop and maintain data models, migration scripts, and ETL processes to support application and analytics requirements.
* Ensure optimal database performance through tuning, indexing, and schema optimization.
* Maintain data integrity, consistency, and security across all environments.
* Collaborate with cloud and application teams to support data migration to cloud platforms under strict security and compliance frameworks.
* Perform regular backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning.
* Implement and enforce database governance standards and access controls.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database administration and development.
* Strong knowledge of data modelling, schema design, and performance tuning.
* Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and database scripting.
* Familiarity with cloud-based databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) and security best practices.
* Solid understanding of SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization.
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
* Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD for databases.
* Certifications in Oracle DBA, PostgreSQL, or Azure/AWS databases.
