Key Responsibilities:
* Sales and inventory management of rural merchandise, including agricultural chemicals, seeds, animal health products, and general merchandise.
* Forecasting and planning, procurement and ordering, sales processing, logistics, stock controls, and stocktakes for this inventory.
* Collaboration with agronomists, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to meet client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
* Warehouse management and associated logistics.
* Working closely with suppliers to implement marketing initiatives and drive business growth.
About You:
* A strong technical background in pricing and margin management, coupled with experience in category development and sales target achievement.
* Relevant knowledge of the agricultural industry and warehouse management.
* Exceptional networking and opportunity identification skills, which are critical to success in this role.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Excel for reporting.
* Requirements include a Forklift ticket and HR license or willingness to obtain one.
