About Your New Role
As a vital member of our Open Minds Team, you'll be assisting our clients with complex needs in the Ipswich region and surroundings. Our Support Workers drive our frontline services, delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help clients reach their full potential. Each day will be unique, but shifts may include assistance with mental health challenges, personal care, household duties, and medication management. Above all, you will provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships.
About You
* Excels in complex support environments, including Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access
* Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders
* Experience working with complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, and handling mental health challenges
* Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease
* Can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons and nights throughout the week

Requirements
* A current Open Driver's Licence
* 1 Year experience with disabilities and mental health support services
