As a Program Delivery Officer at Clarence Correctional Centre, you'll play a vital role in reducing the risk of reoffending by delivering structured rehabilitation programs to inmates. Working within the Rehabilitation & Reintegration Team, you'll support behaviour change through evidence-informed, trauma-aware approaches. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure programs are responsive, safe and impactful. Every day, your work will help create safer communities and support positive futures.
As a Program Delivery Officer in the Rehabilitation & Reintegration team, you'll make a positive impact by:
* Delivering approved offence-related programs to identified inmates
* Assessing inmate suitability and readiness for program participation
* Facilitating therapeutic group sessions using structured frameworks
* Managing participant engagement and responding to complex behaviours
* Preparing accurate, evidence-based reports and maintaining OIMS records
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support reintegration outcomes

You could be a great fit if you have:
* A Certificate qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Services or a related discipline (or relevant experience)
* A Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Case Management) (or completed within the first 12 months of employment)
* Experience facilitating groups, ideally within correctional, welfare or institutional settings
* Confidence supporting people with complex mental health or behavioural needs
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare quality reports
* The ability to remain calm, empathetic and professional in challenging situations
* Eligibility to obtain Corrective Services NSW clearance and complete required checks

Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
