**About Our Client**:
Michael Page is proud to partner with a leading Australian owned company. With a strong presence in the Australian community, the business has enjoyed continual growth locally and internationally.
Reporting to the CFO, the Payroll Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end to end Payroll process, and managing one Payroll Officer. The business pays circa. 1000 staff across it's Australian and New Zealand operations.
Day to day duties include:
- Processing payroll for each relevant entity within the business on a rotating fortnightly basis.
- Processing of new starters and terminations, including calculating termination payments.
- Managing of payroll work flow to align with department and organisational goals.
- Compiling and providing relevant reports to the ATO and the business, including fortnightly super compliance, and monthly reconciliations.
- Completing calculations, payments and reconciliations of payroll tax fortnightly.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, Awards/legislation and regulations within relevant entities.
**The Successful Applicant**:
Other desirable experience includes:
- Dayforce experience highly desirable.
- Strong experience in Payroll tax, reconciliations, superannuation and reporting requirements.
- Experience communicating with senior business stakeholders regarding payroll related issues.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to manage and mentor other staff members.
- Experience with New Zealand Payroll very highly regarded.

On offer is a part-time position, engaged on a 3-month fixed term basis.
The business is located in the inner-suburbs, with access to on-site parking.
The salary on offer is up to $120,000 + Superannuation, pro-rata'd for part-time as well as contract length.
