Contract Type: Casual / Part-Time Position (Approximately 25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours leading into our peak season)

Sunday – Thursday: Alternate every second week with two other Team Leaders

As a busy and thriving Bakery we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Front of House Team Leader to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service, from their first point of contact to the moment they leave.
The Role:
As Front of House Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations and leading a team of servers, barista, and other customer-facing staff.
Your main duties will include:
* Leading, motivating, and training the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service
* Ensuring that all guests receive a warm welcome, efficient service, and an excellent overall experience
* Managing the floor during service, ensuring smooth operations and quick resolution of any issues or customer complaints
* Supervising and coordinating daily front-of-house activities
* Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and effectively
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the front-of-house area
* Providing support and guidance to team members in all areas, promoting a positive, team-oriented atmosphere
* Collaborating with other departments (kitchen, ovens, barista & management) to ensure seamless service delivery
* Assisting with team meetings and recruitment, training, and development of staff
* Opening OR Closure of Shop, and handling daily takings
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role (preferably within hospitality or retail), with at least 1 year in a supervisory/leadership position
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating memorable customer experiences
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm and effective under pressure
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment
