The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an exceptional Security Officer (Community Housing) in Spring Hill to join our team and deliver outstanding customer service and emergency response capabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to work within a supportive and dynamic environment, with a roster offering 4 nights on and 4 nights off, nights and days.
Your Role & Responsibilities
As a Security Officer (Community Housing), you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their premises, and the public. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality security services with a customer-centric approach.
* Focus on de-escalation with presence.
* Responding promptly to emergencies, alarms, and calls for assistance while providing the necessary support.
* Assessing and mitigating risks in various situations.
* Managing access control to ensure secure entry and exit points.
* Drafting detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate data logs.
* Handling administrative tasks to support site operations.

What We're Looking For

* A current Security License (essential) with prior Security experience.
* Ability to work a 4 on 4 off roster (days and nights).
* A Control Room License (highly regarded).
* A current First Aid certificate.
* Exceptional personal presentation.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* A positive attitude and flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights and weekends.
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
