This is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne with a hybrid or remote working model.

The role

You will play a key role in supporting and contributing to Libertas initiatives by developing, administering, and maintaining SAP solutions for enterprise and government clients. This is a hands-on, client-facing role that combines technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration to ensure high-quality solutions across SAP HR, Payroll, and SuccessFactors platforms. You will help clients unlock the full potential of their SAP systems while contributing to continuous improvement and innovation.

Experience

* Minimum 5 years' experience as an SAP HR/Payroll Developer.
* Hands-on experience designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP programs, reports, forms, and enhancements.
* Experience developing and supporting SAP FIORI applications, Web Dynpro ABAP, and SAP Workflow.
* Knowledge of SAP integrations, including Employee Central (EC) to Employee Central Payroll (ECP), and using BTP Integration Services (SCPI), IDoc, OData, BAPI, RFC, and Web Services.
* Functional knowledge of Payroll, HCM, ESS/MSS processes, and SAP best practices.
* Experience supporting SAP ECC system upgrades, patches, and migration activities.
* Experience providing one-on-one customer support in both project and support environments, ideally in Health or Public Sector industries.
* Strong understanding of SAP configuration, testing, and troubleshooting processes, including the ability to analyse complex system issues and recommend practical solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers, share knowledge, and work collaboratively with consultants, basis teams, and stakeholders.
* Familiarity with SAP security, user roles, and permissions to support system integrity and compliance.
* Exposure to end-to-end HR and payroll business processes, enabling you to translate business requirements into technical solutions effectively.
* Experience with performance optimisation and system enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, maintain, and support SAP applications and FIORI solutions.
* Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve customer incidents while collaborating with internal teams.
* Support SAP ECC system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
* Maintain high-quality documentation and provide guidance on SAP best practices.
* Advise clients on SAP solutions and continuous improvement opportunities.
* Engage in ongoing professional development, including SAP forums, workshops, and training.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Client-facing and consulting experience with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively at all levels.
* Ability to perform application testing and support configuration changes.
* Strong collaborative skills and experience working in a high-performing, team-oriented environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining quality and service levels.
