We are seeking a Workforce Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and optimising how our consulting workforce is deployed, developed and supported.
The Role
The Workforce Operations Manager role is one of the most strategically influential operational roles within the Australian business. Operating at the intersection of Talent, Finance and Operations, you will act as a trusted advisor to Partners and senior leadership, ensuring our Consulting workforce is deployed effectively, commercially optimised and aligned with long‐term development and growth objectives.
Workforce Operations
The role spans three core areas:

Key Responsibilities Include
* Partnering directly with senior leaders to make strategic staffing decisions across all engagements
* Forward planning workforce deployment to enable agility and rapid mobilisation
* Aligning staffing decisions with commercial realities, including scope, pricing and margin expectations
* Meeting regularly with consulting staff to understand skills, experience and development aspirations to inform allocations
* Collaborating with global offices to facilitate international staffing and optimise cross‐office deployment
* Managing the workforce (pyramid) budget and overall capacity planning
* Overseeing leave management across the consulting cohort
* Managing the Australian component of LEK's global mobility programmes

Business Analysis and Strategic Workforce Insights
Our biggest asset is our people. This role owns the analytics and insights that inform critical workforce and operating model decisions. You will provide data‐driven analysis to senior leadership, including the Managing Partner, Head of Talent and the Operations Committee.
Responsibilities Include
* Producing regular reporting on utilisation, capacity, attrition and workforce cost
* Partnering with Finance to analyse project performance and commercial outcomes
* Leading strategic workforce projects that shape business decisions, such as operating model design, capacity forecasting and remuneration benchmarking
* Supporting regulatory HR reporting requirements, including WGEA
This component of the role requires strong commercial acumen, analytical rigour and the ability to translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
Talent Partnership
Working closely with our high‐performing talent team, you will contribute to initiatives that strengthen performance, engagement and retention across the consulting group.
This Includes
* Supporting bi‐annual consulting performance review process
* Preparing remuneration and bonus analysis
* Contributing to employee relations support and enabling strong communication between leadership and consulting staff
