Endeavour Foundation’s work is critical and the Data Analyst role is important in helping to ensure that Endeavour Foundation can continue to deliver its services in the future. About the role As a Data Analyst within the Lotteries Strategy team, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making through analytics, business intelligence and predictive modelling. Your focus will be on turning complex data into clear insights that support supporter engagement, campaign effectiveness and strategic initiatives. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that drive continuous improvement and revenue growth across our Lotteries program. Responsibilities Run the day-to-day cadence of analytics for Endeavour Lotteries, including developing and automating dashboards, scheduled reporting, ad-hoc deep dives, and delivering actionable insights with quick turnarounds to optimise campaign performance. Identify growth opportunities by analysing behavioural and transactional supporter data, translating trends into strategic recommendations for consumption by product and marketing teams. Proactively investigate and address data quality issues to ensure accurate, timely decision-making. Use and promote the use of tools like Snowflake, Amplitude, Power BI, and Python for comprehensive data exploration and clear presentation of insights. Support the development of customer segmentation strategies within marketing systems, enhancing targeting precision and effectiveness. Contribute to predictive modelling initiatives aimed at improving supporter targeting, engagement, and retention. Uphold and enhance data governance practices, maintaining accuracy, integrity, documentation, and data lineage standards across all analytics deliverables. About you Minimum of 3 years' experience in business intelligence and data visualisation, with proven proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and ideally Python. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets, extracting clear, impactful insights despite numerous external factors impacting your data. Experience working with diverse databases and analytical platforms, specifically Snowflake, Amplitude, and Braze. Solid understanding of how supporter behaviour and marketing performance intersect to drive outcomes, ideally within lottery, fundraising, gaming, retail/FMCG, or similar customer-centric environments. Resourceful in managing data stitching and transformations independently, especially when engineering support is limited, and capable of guiding data engineers in model development. Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders, clarifying analytical requirements, promoting best practice use of insights and presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Robust documentation skills, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and longevity of analytical processes and insights.
