Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant
Role Overview: A skilled SAP Basis consultant is required to support our ERP transition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including NetWeaver, S/4HANA, and Java-based components.
* Lead and support RISE with SAP projects, including cloud migration planning, readiness checks, and cutover execution.
* Administer and monitor SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments, including subaccounts, services, and trust configurations.
* Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), user administration, and other security-related tasks, ensuring compliance with internal and external audits.
* Regularly monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency.
* Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the SAP environment, working with various teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless and efficient SAP landscape.
* Support presales activities by providing technical expertise on RISE with SAP solutions.
* Lead and coordinate SAP Basis projects, including installations, migrations, and upgrades.
* Advise customers and colleagues on SAP RISE configurations, integrations, and best practices.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience in platform foundations for ERP systems.
* Strong technical skills in SAP Basis administration and environment management, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP BTP.
* Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) experience is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of SAP security concepts, including SSO and authorization management.
* Knowledge of Fiori Launchpad Configuration, SAP Readiness Check, and ODATA service setup.
* Experience with database management (HANA, Oracle, etc.).
* Knowledge of Hana DB Installation, Configuration, Backup, and Recovery; Hana sizing, performance tuning, and configuration.
* Familiarity with Cloud Connector, SAP ALM, and Cloud Transport Management.
* Managing Global Accounts, Sub Accounts, and Cloud Foundry Org and Space.
* Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and DevOps practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
