About the Role
As Assistant Store Manager, you'll assist the State Manager in leading our tyre fitting and customer service operations. You'll be hands‐on with staff management, customer interaction, and operational oversight, ensuring smooth day‐to‐day running of the workshop and front‐of‐house.
Based in Lytton, this is a full‐time, permanent role suited for someone with tyre fitting experience and leadership skills looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the tyre fitting team to deliver high standards of service and safety.
Ensure the team meets service level agreements and customer expectations.
Provide technical support and quality supervision in service delivery.
Monitor inventory and support accurate stock management.
Assist with customer sales, phone enquiries, admin, and general store operations.
Uphold a strong safety‐first culture and report all incidents or hazards.
Support and uphold company values (DICE): Decent, Innovative, Collaborative, Energetic.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in tyre store or workshop management.
Strong knowledge of tyre brands, fitments, and service processes.
Tyre fitting experience (essential).
Sales and customer service experience in the automotive sector.
Current Driver's Licence (essential).
Certificate II in Tyre Fitting and Forklift Licence (desirable).
Pre‐Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete:
* National Police Check
* Drug and Alcohol Screening
* Fit4Work Medical Assessment
This may include a functional assessment and/or provision of a letter from a medical practitioner where required.
