About NSEY The Northern Schools Early Years (NSEY) is an Early Years Management group that supports 19 Early Childhood services, 17 of which are co-located on school sites. We have been recognised with awards including the Victorian Early Years Awards for Improving Access and Participation in Early Learning and the Ministers Award for our Kindergarten to Grade 6 (K-6) model "Continuing of Learning."
Our purpose is to "Love a Life of Learning and Living," aiming to set the highest standard of early years education in partnership with local schools and the community. We are committed to maximising outcomes for children in the early years, encouraging family involvement in early education, and promoting professional career development and well-being for our educators.
The Opportunity - Kindergartens on School Sites – Northern Suburbs of Melbourne
Locations: Hume & Merri-Bek Areas, North Melbourne; co-located on school sites and delivering sessional kindergarten programs for three- and four-year-old children. Our model is recognised nationally as an educational standard for the future, incorporating Kindergarten to Grade 6 and, in some cases, zero–Grade 6, delivered in an integrated service model with schools, maternal health nurses, playgroups and community hubs.
The Role The successful Early Childhood Educators will support the delivery of our kindergarten programs. Full-time and part-time positions are available at several kindergartens, including the new Gladstone Views Primary School kindergarten (opening in 2026), with session lengths of 5 hours or 7.5 hours. Hours range from 17.5 to 35 hours per week, spread over 3–5 days per week during school terms. Educators are employed under the conditions of the VECTEA.
