Location: Mordialloc

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (as applicable)

Reporting to: Centre Director

About the Role

This pivotal front-of-house role is the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors. Working closely with the Centre Director and leadership team, you will provide high-quality administrative, reception, and account support while contributing to a collaborative and transparent distributed leadership model.

What You'll Be Doing

* Be the friendly first point of contact via phone, email, and in-person enquiries
* Provide exceptional customer service to families, educators, and visitors
* Manage enrolments, waitlists, orientation packs, and family communications
* Oversee administration of Xplor childcare management software, from enrolment to billing
* Support families through the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) process
* Manage parent accounts, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation in collaboration with Finance
* Assist with bookings, scheduling, stock control, ordering, and general administration
* Maintain accurate attendance records and compliance requirements
* Support the Intergenerational Program and other centre initiatives
* Uphold Child Safe Standards, privacy, and confidentiality at all times
* Contribute to ESG initiatives and foster an inclusive and welcoming environment

Things That Matter to Us

* Experience in or knowledge of an Early Learning or childcare environment
* Reception or customer service experience in a professional setting
* Sound administrative and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Experience using administrative systems or ERPs (Xplor highly regarded)
* Basic bookkeeping or accounts receivable experience
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with a team
* A genuine commitment to early childhood education and continuous improvement
* Understanding of (or willingness to learn) NQS, EYLF, and VEYLF frameworks

Essential Requirements

* Valid Working with Children Check
* Current HLTAID012 – First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
* Compliance with Child Safe Standards
* Required vaccinations in line with Department of Health and TLC policy
* Eligibility to work in Australia

Desirable (But Not Essential)

* Experience working with Xplor or similar childcare management systems
* Experience supporting CCS processes
