We are seeking a Risk and Benefits Manager to support our Project Controls Team within a Project Management Office.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely information to ensure informed decisions are made, identifying and mitigating risks to project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management approaches;
- Conduct and facilitate risk management workshops with stakeholders;
- Maintain a comprehensive risk register to track and mitigate potential issues;
- Assess risk probability, impact, and timing to prioritize mitigation efforts;
- Utilize organizational risk management tools to inform decision-making;
- Coordinate risk reviews to evaluate controls and identify areas for improvement;
- Develop awareness of risk treatment strategies and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Benefits (Value) Management
- Create and maintain key benefits management artefacts;
- Provide benefits realization support services to stakeholders;
- Offer best practice advice on benefits management and realisation practices;
- Support strategic business change by developing working practices that link benefits management with continuous improvement planning, performance measurement, and 'value for money' delivery;
- Ensure benefits are measurable, realistic, and achievable, and that risks to the benefits are being effectively managed;
- Develop comprehensive benefits reporting, including monitoring benefit trends and providing advice on benefits realization achievements;
- Identify and appoint benefit owners, and ensure benefits are profiled, communicated, understood, and managed.
Requirements
- Certification in ISO 31000 or other industry recognized qualifications;
- Australian citizenship;
- Current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance or higher.
