Noosa District State High School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, collaborative and innovative leader to join the leadership team for a full‐time Deputy Principal position available from 13th July until 11th December unless otherwise determined.
As the Deputy Principal – Junior Secondary, you will improve the educational outcomes of students in the school and develop the quality of curriculum, teaching and learning at our bespoke Junior Secondary campus.
You will achieve this by nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the capability to lead across a number of improvement agendas within a large and multi‐faceted Executive and Senior Leadership team that supports the growth and engagement of every student in a multi‐campus environment.
This is a temporary full‐time position for six months, to commence from 13 July 2026 until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

About The Role
This role is based at the Pomona Campus and is accountable for the strategic leadership of Junior Secondary (Years 7‐8), Transitions; and Implementation of Version 9 across the whole school.

* Deputise for the Principal when required.
