If the anaesthetist is available to work the AM and PM sessions of the day of On Call, and the On Call Shift that night (finishing at 0730 the following day) the rate will be $4,000. If you have an anaesthetist who can't cover the day session but is available for the overnight on call only, the rate would be $2,000 for the on call only. Accommodation is provided for on call. ^^Weekend On Call If the consultant anaesthetist is available to work the AM and PM sessions on the Friday and the weekend on call (til 0730 the following Monday) the rate will be $9,000. If you have a consultant anaesthetist who can't cover the Friday session but is available for the weekend on call only (Friday 1730-Monday 0730), the rate would be $6,000 for the weekend on call only.
