Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Coordinator role involves overseeing the day-to-day quality standards of the production area and team, adhering to organisational procedures and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage Quality Systems and processes in line with organisational standards.
* Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing culture and employee resources for the site, focusing on quality excellence.
* Create and implement internal auditing programmes for food safety and quality assurance.
* Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with company policies and business processes.
* Maintain strong relationships with peers, sales functions, head office departments, suppliers and customers.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Food Technology or Science.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance roles, preferably in high-care environments.
* Strong understanding of legislative requirements for safety, quality, environment, security and insurance.
* Excellent leadership skills and ability to positively influence people and drive change independently or through teamwork.
