Reporting to the Energy Operations Eastern Region Supervisor you will join a technically disciplined team and demonstrate an ability to deliver against a wider variety of Electrical activities which is essential to our teams success.
The Energy Operations Eastern Region portfolio comprises of 11kV - 33kV distribution networks for Christmas Creek and Cloudbreak mine sites, Thermal Power Stations & the emergency diesel power stations for site villages. New incoming assets include 220 Univers? Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all maintenance activities are resourced appropriately and executed in accordance with the maintenance strategyEnsure all maintenance activities are resourced appropriately and executed in accordance with the maintenance strategy
* Carry out planned and routine maintenance activities on a broad range of electrical equipment for the transmission, distribution and generation assets
* Diagnosing and fault finding on all equipment within)throws? The text: "Diagnosing and fault finding on all equipment within the Energy Operations battery limits."
* Commitment to high quality safety and continuous improvement practices
* Use of SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification.
Qualifications and Experience
* High Voltage Switching certificate with relevant network switching experience
* Current High Risk work licence – WP, LF
* Working at heights trained
* Experience with all aspects of HV power distribution and transmission systems
* Experience in large scale transmission networks and operation of Siemens GIS switchgear would be an advantage.
