Overview
We are currently looking to hire multiple Formulators/Plant operators to undertake formulations duties in a safe and efficient manner to ensure company objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities
* Prepare plant and equipment in accordance with the relevant SOPs to formulate.
* Carry out formulation as per the Job Sheet.
* Comply with all general safety directions for the workplace and those prescribed on the Job Sheets.
* Ensure that all plant and equipment used in the process of formulating is in good safe working order.
* Ensure regular and routine maintenance is carried out where appropriate.
* Ensure that all raw materials are QC approved before using.
* Ensure all raw materials being returned to the store are done so in the prescribed manner.
* Must be able to lift 25 kgs regularly.
Work experience and skills
* Experience in a similar role is essential. Forklift licence essential.
* Be able to communicate and work effectively in a team.
* Be enthusiastic to learn new skills in a supportive fast-paced environment.
* Be capable of troubleshooting formulation and equipment issues.
* Be flexible with working hours when required.
* Prior experience in chemical manufacture and formulating in a batch process is an advantage.
