Job Description
The Opportunity
The High Value Crop (Horticulture) Product Manager position exists to lead in-field initiatives and business development of the HVC Portfolio in orchard, vineyard and bedded crop settings across Australia and New Zealand. These activities are designed to achieve sales growth and provide technical support to both Dealers and Customers by acting as a liaison between the factory and outside product users.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and delivery of product demonstrations, product optimisation, and product training
* Provide dealers with technical support across the HVC portfolio, including in-person and virtual troubleshooting, acting as the local technical subject matter expert.
* Interface with the sales branch, channel partners, customers, and platform to provide analysis to improve the product
* Support or assist with marketing assistance to product, parts, or services through phone or field reports.
* Develop prescribed solutions and generate new opportunities by maintaining relationships with partner organisations
* Resolve queries from internal or external customers
* Support senior colleagues in building and optimising relationships and interactions with external and internal stakeholders, including key decision-makers, regulators, public organisations, governmental institutions, insurance companies, providers, professional communities, and customer/client/patient groups.
The Successful Applicant
About You
The ideal candidate for the HVC Product Manager role will have a technical underpinning but be commercially aware. Hands-on technical experience in an agricultural setting is highly preferred with an ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical faults in real time. Technical exposure in similar industries or with other automated/robotic applications will also be considered.
You'll be a strong communicator and self-motivated with an ability to work independently. As the role is travel/field based with 50% plus of your time out of the office, you'll be comfortable on the road and relish the opportunity to travel and experience new contexts and people.

The successful candidate can expect to be offered a two-year contract on a generous hourly rate that covers base salary, superannuation and bonus allowances. Travel and vehicle rental costs will be fully covered as expenses.
In addition, the successful candidate will be taking on a high-profile role in the business, with exposure across ANZ and also the US, including travel to the US early in post. You'll have the chance to make an impact that's felt by customers, dealers and the business alike.
