Established over 35 years, we're a leader in supplying CNC-fabricated and machined components. Our workshop includes a wide range of up-to-date CNC brake presses from 45T to 1000T.
The role
We're seeking an experienced CNC Brake Press Operator/Setter to produce high-accuracy components to specification. You'll work with minimal supervision and follow safe, methodical QA procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC brake presses (45–1000T range) to produce parts to drawing/spec.
- Read and interpret manufacturing/workshop drawings.
- Measure and verify dimensions to tight tolerances using standard metrology tools.
- Perform in-process quality checks and complete QA documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues and contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices.
Skills & experience
- Previous CNC brake press setting and operating experience (required).
- Knowledge of Cybelec controllers (advantageous).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Committed to safe working practices and company QA procedures.
- Immediate start available.
