Manager, Conflicts Management

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to develop a career in conflicts management at Deloitte. We are seeking a Manager to join our team, and are open to candidates based in Melbourne, Sydney or Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide crucial support and advice to ensure timely identification and management of conflicts of interest.
* Engage with partners and employees across the firm on various issues related to conflicts, probity and exclusivity.
* Conduct detailed conflict checks and handle special contract terms.
* Manage conflicts declarations and address both commercial and personal conflicts.
What You'll Do:
* You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and other Deloitte employees to tackle complex scenarios.
* You'll lead projects aimed at enhancing our processes, systems, tools, and documentation to drive improvements in our conflict management practices.
* You'll train and educate our people on conflict matters, equipping colleagues with the knowledge and skills to handle conflicts effectively.
* You'll support team leaders in managing the team, including training and developing junior members.
About You:
We're looking for someone who is:
* A team player who enjoys working collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders and matters.
* Adaptable, communicative and strives to deliver quality work.
* Has 3-6 years of relevant work experience in a risk management function, ideally within professional services public accounting or financial services.
* Can interpret and understand policy and apply it to real-life scenarios.
* Has strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills with an ability to present information clearly & professionally.
