At Change Recruitment, we're looking for an experienced Technology Recruitment Billing Manager to lead and grow our Permanent Recruitment division while maintaining a high-performing desk of your own.
We're a Sydney-based specialist technology recruitment business entering our next phase of growth. Over the last five years we've built strong enterprise and scale-up client relationships, invested heavily in automation and AI, and created an environment where experienced recruiters can focus on the work that actually generates revenue.
Now we're looking for someone who can help shape the future of our permanent business.
Why This Role Is Different
You'll inherit a team of five established permanent recruiters currently billing between $200k and $700k annually.
This isn't a turnaround role.
This is an opportunity to take an already successful function and elevate it further through leadership, coaching, strategy and your own market expertise.
You'll have the autonomy to influence direction, build specialist practices, improve performance and help define what great looks like.
What You'll Be Doing
* Running your own permanent technology recruitment desk
* Leading and mentoring a team of 5 recruiters
* Driving business development strategy and market growth
* Coaching consultants to increase consistency, productivity and billings
* Improving recruitment delivery standards and client outcomes
* Helping expand specialist practices across: Software Engineering, AI & Data, Quality Engineering & Testing.
* Contributing to the ongoing growth strategy of the business

The Opportunity
Package
* Uncapped commission up to 50%
* Zero threshold
* 50% commission triggered at $180k billed per quarter
* 3% team override on billings above benchmark

You'll Be Successful If You
* Have 5+ years' experience in agency technology recruitment
* Are a proven permanent recruitment biller
* Have experience leading, mentoring or managing recruiters
* Possess a strong business development mindset
* Take a structured, systemised approach to recruitment
* Enjoy building high-performing teams
* Want genuine influence over the direction of a business
This Role Is Not Suitable If
* You've never worked in a recruitment agency
* You've never recruited technology professionals
* You've never led or managed a sales/recruitment team
* You're looking for an internal talent acquisition position
