Field Sales Manager - Southeast Melbourne

Position Title: Field Sales Manager

Location: South-East Melbourne/Hybrid

Employment: Permanent Full Time

The Job:

As a Sales Manager, you'll be leading our South-East Victorian Field team with a focus on driving growth and profitability by developing and executing sales plans and strengthening customer relationships.

You will get too:

* Develop and execute customer growth plans focusing on key customers
* Target top 10 state end users with growth plans.
* Conduct regular site visits within construction environments to engage key end users to identify opportunities for product placement, upselling, and solution implementation.
* Collaborate onsite with end users in the construction sector to resolve issues, strengthen relationships, and drive customer satisfaction supporting long-term business growth.
* Document and share insights from construction site visits with the sales team to support targeted growth initiatives and margin improvement.
* Coach and support the sales team to ensure disciplined sales execution.
* Expand margins through directional selling and manage product mix.

The Person:
You are a strategic leader with proven experience in business development, ideally gained within the construction or tool industry. You have a track record of driving sales growth, developing new market opportunities, and leading high-performing field teams to achieve ambitious revenue and margin targets. You excel at building strong relationships with key customers, site managers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and you are passionate about developing others and executing business strategies that deliver measurable results.

You also have:

* Ability to engage directly with end users onsite to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
* Experience building strong relationships with site managers, contractors, and end users by addressing on-site challenges and offering tailored solutions.
* Experience in strategic sales and customer relationship development.
* Previous experience in a leadership position within a sales or similar environment.
* Strong leadership and coaching skills.
* Experience using various computer systems such as Microsoft, SharePoint, Salesforce or similar.
* Ability to analyse sales performance and drive margin expansion.
* Experience in training and coaching team members on features and benefits of products
* Experience or exposure in the Tool Industry, Construction or similar would be highly regarded.
