We are seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the packing and removals team to meet service delivery targets and customer expectations. This includes overseeing the packing, loading, transportation and unloading of customer belongings with a focus on quality and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Packing and Removals Management: Manage and coordinate the packing and removals team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
* Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and place orders for packing supplies as needed.
* Quality Control: Ensure all packing materials, equipment and vehicles are well-maintained and readily available.
* Team Support: Provide hands-on support to the team during peak periods or complex moves.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a packing/removals management role within the transport and logistics industry.
* Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Sound knowledge of packing techniques, materials and equipment.
