The Opportunity.
Come and discover the opportunity to join our Fielders business in our Osborne Park WA team as a Branch Supervisor. With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.
This is a dynamic and varied role that offers new challenges each day, with responsibilities spanning both customer service and warehouse operations. You'll lead a small, diverse team and have the opportunity to demonstrate your strengths while growing your career with an iconic Australian company.
We're looking for a self-driven, agile thinker with the ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage competing priorities.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 7:00am to 4:00pm.
What Will You Do?
You will ensure that our customers expectations are met in a timely and efficient manner. To achieve this, you will supervise the team and provide hands-on support by:
* Ensuring efficient staffing to meet operational demands
* Attending to customers who visit the branch and addressing incoming inquiries
* Managing customer orders by interacting with internal stakeholders to ensure we can meet our customer's expectations
* Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained to meet customer and operational demands
* Following up on quotations and inquiries to identify new sales opportunities
* Providing timely communication to customers and internal stakeholders
* Ensuring all processes are conducted safely by following the company's safety practices
* Unloading incoming deliveries and loading customers' vehicles in a safe manner.

* experience in supervising a small team
* effective relationship management and influencing capability.
* strong customer focus with the ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
* computer competency with ability to learn the companies ERP system.
* experience in a warehouse or stores environment with a current Forklift Ticket.
* a strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing and care for others
