As we continue to invest in Technology and large-scale transformation, we're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to partner with our Technology leaders and shape smarter investment decisions across a complex, high-value portfolio.This is a highly influential role, sitting at the intersection of strategy, technology and finance, where your insight will directly impact how we prioritise funding, manage delivery and realise value.About the role Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, you'll act as a trusted advisor to senior Technology leaders, translating strategy and roadmaps into robust financial plans. You'll own end-to-end financial oversight for Technology run and change spend, while driving performance, accountability and value creation across the portfolio. You will also be responsible for group project reporting & governance.This role blends advanced financial analysis, project accounting, commercial judgement and stakeholder influence, and is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving, investment-heavy environments.Key responsibilitiesPartner closely with Technology executives to translate strategy into budgets, forecasts and investment plansLead end-to-end budgeting and rolling forecasting for the Technology divisionBuild scenario models and sensitivity analysis to support portfolio prioritisation and funding decisionsOwn financial management of major Technology projects, including forecasting, cost control, capitalisation and benefits trackingEstablish and monitor KPIs across run costs, project spend, vendors, capex vs opex and benefits realisationResponsible for group Project accounting principles and frameworksDeliver clear, insight-driven monthly performance reporting with strong narrative and recommendationsDevelop and review business cases for Technology investments, assessing ROI, risks and total cost of ownershipEnsure strong financial controls, governance and compliance with internal policies and accounting standardsBuild trusted relationships with Technology leaders, project managers and cross-functional stakeholdersLead a small team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvementWhat we're looking forCA or CPA qualified, with tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or economics7+ years' post-graduate experience in senior commercial finance, business partnering or project finance rolesStrong background in Technology and project-based environments (capital-intensive portfolios highly regarded)Deep knowledge of project accounting, financial modelling, budgeting and forecastingProven experience developing and evaluating complex business casesHighly credible communicator, able to translate complex financial concepts into clear, decision-focused adviceStrong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadersAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systemsWhat we offerFlexible working arrangements and a supportive, high-performing finance cultureDiscounts on home and car insurance plus RACV roadside careClub Membership and discounts across RACV resortsDiscounts from corporate partners updated monthlyApplicants must provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia and consent to a criminal record check.
