This role is a great opportunity for someone looking for an entry level leadership experience in managing multiple sites, and a passion for working with children.

We are looking for an Outside School Hours Care Mobile Assistant Coordinator to support our services across Bendigo, Castlemaine and surrounding suburbs.

The role in a nutshell

As a Mobile Assistant Coordinator, you will perform the duties of both the Assistant Coordinator and where required, step up as a fill-in Coordinator and/or Responsible Person to manage planned and unplanned staffing gaps within an operational region. This position will report to the Regional Services Manager (RSM) and the Senior Coordinator when stepping up to the role of fill-in Coordinator and/or Responsible Person. You will have a default location and then temporarily work at other services as required. While your minimum guaranteed hours are 20:00 per week, you will be required to take on full-time responsibilities as needed.

**You will**:
Assist and support the Coordinator in the delivery of quality Outside School Hours Care programs and promoting service excellence.
Effectively develop, implement, and monitor OSHC/OOSH programs and activities while performing fill-in Coordinator/Responsible Person role.
Ensure quality and compliance in service delivery, and work with your team towards excellent rating and assessment outcomes.
Support and mentor a high performing, skilled and engaged team of Educators within the service. Provide an inclusive and fun environment in which children are safe, engaged and well supervised.
Minimise risk and manage safety in services.
Assist Regional Services Manager and Senior Coordinator in managing rosters to ensure effective utilisation of team members to ensure engagement and retention.
Ensure records are maintained accurately for each child in the care, resources are maintained and managed effectively and develop, implement, and evaluate daily care routines.

Who are we looking for?

We can teach you about the job and JAG, but a few basics you need to have:
Hold or be working towards a 2-year approved Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant area of study (e.g. Diploma in Children's Services)
Childcare industry knowledge and experience preferably in an OSHC environment
Current and valid Working with Children Check, or state required check
Current driver's license is required
Availability over split shifts, Monday to Friday
