Crafted Steel Engineering is a steel fabrication company with operations in the Goldfields and the Southwest of WA. We provide high-quality steel fabrication solutions for various industries including the mining sector.
We are taking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested onsite metal engineering and fabrication technicians and assistants. From our EOI pool we will contact and select the best suited applicants to join our teams across the regions. If you are a top-notch craftsman, passionate about quality work outcomes, and can work in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
We Are Seeking:
Boilermakers
Coded Welders
Fixed Plant Fitters
Drafters
Only candidates with full rights to work in Australia are considered. Qualified candidates will be selected from the EOI pool. Full-time or casual employment will be available and negotiated with successful candidates. We are seeking candidates with demonstrable skills, attention to detail and committed to their craftsmanship. We value our people, their contribution through hard work, and hence our corresponding reward system. All roles offer full-time hours, with opportunities for overtime.
Applications are expected to include:
Current resume with trade references.
Copies of recognised qualification, trade certificates or Assessed Equivalent outcome if training was obtained outside of Australia
All applicable licenses, tickets and clearances.
Additional Requirements:
Own hand tools and welding helmets.
Current driver's license.
A strong focus on safety and teamwork.
The ability to work unsupervised and to a high standard.
Strong skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
A proactive and motivated work ethic.
Fabricators and welders must have proficiency in TIG, MIG, flux core welding or stick welding (ability to pass a basic weld test). Must have recent work experience with aluminium, stainless steel, mild steel, carbon steel etc.
