About The Role
As the Head of Department, you will lead the curriculum focus in alignment with school and departmental initiatives, contribute to delivering the vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, support the development and enhancement of teaching and learning quality, and foster positive relationships among students, teachers, and stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Department - International Studies / Languages, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Drive a culture of excellence in language learning and international education.
* Build strong, positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community.
* Create meaningful opportunities for students to develop linguistic proficiency, intercultural competence, and active citizenship.
* Strengthen the International Student Program, fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment that reflects our commitment to global education.
* Ensure the quality and consistency of teaching, learning, and support across the faculty.
* Support student management and wellbeing as a year level team member.
