We're looking for a skilled Finance Manager to join our Toowoomba office. This full-time or part-time position (approx. 30 - 38 hours/week) offers flexibility, autonomy, and a chance to make a genuine difference in regional communities.
Responsibilities
* Provide financial reporting, advice and analysis to the CEO on all aspects of the business.
* Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including budgets and forecasting.
* Liaise with our bank on equipment financing and work with our external accountant on tax compliance.
* Assist and support internal auditing requirements and third-party auditing requirements.
* Lead and mentor our finance team across payroll, reporting, and compliance.
* Act as the finance team's go-to problem solver and help guide broader company decisions.
Requirements
* A degree in Business or Commerce (Accounting).
* Hands-on experience managing finances in a small to medium business.
* A strong understanding of compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
* High-level experience and understanding of payroll.
* Solid experience using accounting software (Xero preferably).
* High proficiency in Excel.
