You will love the yearly carnival of festivities and celebrations including the Mount Isa Rodeo.The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people.Mount Isa is a great place to live and work!Eligible Mount Isa Residents may also be able to access discounts starting from 20% off Qantas return fares from Mount Isa to their eligible city.About the roleThe Administration Officer Child Health provides administrative support to the Maternal Child and Youth Health Team.Key Responsibilities:Provide a high level of communication skills in a friendly and helpful manner with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively.Have a flexible attitude, communicate clearly and confidently with members of the public, patients/clients and departmental staff both in person and over the telephone whilst adhering to Queensland Health guidelines.Monitor, maintain and develop efficient and effective record management systems and practices that ensures integrity and security of files, accurate information, and maintenance of documentation within the system including but not limited to client records and filing all forms and documents.Requirements:Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification (e.g. Administration, Child Health and/or Immunisations) would be well regarded.Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.A period of probation may apply.Interested?Download the Role Description for further information and application / interview preparation.
