The role
Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the auction and asset sales sector. They place a strong focus on customer service, accuracy, and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and creating a professional first impression
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking clear and accurate messages
- Coordinate visitor arrivals and notify relevant team members promptly
- Support auction administration, including data entry and processing of sales
- Accurately enter consignments in line with internal procedures
- Prepare and update auction catalogues, including pre-sale changes and online listings
- Process payments, issue receipts, and assist with general accounts administration
- Provide administrative support to Business Development Managers and valuation teams
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in reception, administration, or a similar role
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional communication skills with a confident phone manner
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
